Purple Banner Tour: Art Studios & Galleries

The Sunshine Coast is full of natural beauty, and it's no wonder the Coast is home to such a thriving artistic community when there is so much inspiration around us.

The tour can be done at any time of year, all you need to do is look for the flying purple banner flags—which signify that the arts are at work. The banners are hung by local artists and often mean that their studios and galleries are open to visitors. Artists representing a wide variety of disciplines are part of the Purple Banner Tour, so you'll have a chance to view (and possibly purchase) everything from paintings and photographs to pottery and fibre art.
