Golfing & Disc Golf
The Sunshine Coast is one of BC’s best golfing destinations. With more than 2400 hours of sunshine annually and mild weather that other provinces can't rival—it's no wonder people travel from far and wide to play golf on the Sunshine Coast.
Sunshine Coast Golf Courses
The Sunshine Coast is home to three unique 18-hole courses: the Sunshine Coast Golf & Country Club in Roberts Creek, Blue Ocean Golf Club in Sechelt, and Myrtle Point Golf Club in Powell River. There are also two 9-hole courses to play: the Pender Harbour Golf Club and Langdale Heights courses. These low-elevation courses mean golfers can tee off year-round, with fun and challenges for every skill level. And if you're travelling with kids, try Putters Mini Golf in Powell River so the kids can play, too.
Amenities at Every Golf Course
There are amenities available at every course, including restaurants, pro shops, and driving ranges. The Sunshine Coast also offers views that stretch out over the Salish Sea or up into the Coastal Mountains. Our courses are located close to many other outdoor activities like kayaking, mountain biking, or hiking at the world-famous Skookumchuck Narrows Provincial Park.
Disc Golf on the Sunshine Coast
Disc golf is growing in popularity on the Sunshine Coast, and it’s worth packing your discs for a chance to practice your putts and escape shots. Check out courses like:
- Shirley Macey Park, Gibsons - this public course is looked after by the Sunshine Coast Disc Golf Association.
- Pender Harbour Golf Club, Pender Harbour - this paid 18-hole course features both red (beginner/intermediate) and blue (advanced) tees.
- Craig Regional Park, Powell River - enjoy what some players call a "must play" 18-hole course set within a regional park. The qathet Disc Golf Club also hosts events at the park.
