Sunshine Coast, BC (February 6, 2026) — The Sunshine Coast Flavour Festival runs March 6–15, inviting locals and visitors to explore the full spectrum of the Coast’s culinary talent from restaurants and cafes, to food trucks, specialty markets and breweries, stretching from Gibsons to Lund.

Now in its second year, the festival showcases the Coast’s culinary creativity through exclusive, limited-time experiences, including special menus, inventive pairings, tasting features, and playful promotions that reflect each participating business’s personality.

"We've seen an incredible influx of culinary talent move to the Coast over the past decade, bringing more creativity and collaboration than ever," said Annie Wise, Executive Director of Sunshine Coast Tourism. "Restaurants and craft beverage businesses are teaming up with local farms and producers, food trucks are offering unique and exciting experiences, and specialty markets feel like destinations in themselves. The Flavour Festival lets them all shine with offers designed to be approachable and easy to enjoy, encouraging people to revisit favourite spots and try places they've been meaning to check out."

With more than 50 participating locations, the Sunshine Coast Flavour Festival offers a wide range of culinary experiences, with highlights including East Coast-meets-West Coast lobster rolls from Sunshine Coast Shellfish’s food bus, perfect after a Skookumchuck hike. Stop by the Spare Room at the Alley for a Double Trouble Burger & Beer before hitting the bowling lanes, or enjoy a multi-course tasting and margarita flight at Lunita’s paired with a self-guided tour of Murder in a Small Town filming locations. Don’t miss Fong’s Market & Gifts Shop, where diners can pick up take-home dim sum and receive a complimentary Labubu boba tea — a fun nod to one of the internet’s latest drinkable obsessions.

The Sunshine Coast Flavour Festival is an invitation to taste what makes this region a standout culinary destination—for locals and visitors alike.
