Visitor Information

When touring throughout the Sunshine Coast, be sure to discover the various communities along the way. The lower Sunshine Coast stretches 84 kilometers (53 mi) from the Langdale ferry terminal (the main entry point for most visitors) to Earls Cove where a connecting ferry leads to the upper Sunshine Coast. The Coast has one main highway which parallels most of the coastline and provides easy access to many communities and places of interest.

For more information about our communities, contact any one of our local Visitor Info Centres in Gibsons, Sechelt, Madeira Park, Powell River and Lund. When you arrive on the Sunshine Coast be sure to stop in to get information, maps, visitor guides and brochures, book accommodations, Internet access, fax service and purchase gifts. Our travel counsellors will be pleased to assist you. The Sunshine Coast Travel Ambassadors are a group of dedicated volunteers who provide travel information on the ferries between Horseshoe Bay and Langdale from spring to fall. While enjoying your sailing to the Coast, you can pick up visitor guides, maps and ask any questions you might have before you even arrive.
