Out of nearly 30 entrants, the Town of Gibsons has been selected as BC's best community of its size by Communities in Bloom! The judges commented that Gibsons is a creative, hard-working town that embraces the attributes that make it unique, and designated Gibsons a 'Five Bloom Community'. Gibsons also received honourable mention for the Persephone display, the boat made famous by the Beachcombers television series.
