Favourite Quote from the 2010 Olympics
As everyone is now aware, the able bodied 2010 Vancouver Olympics were a rousing success.  I thought I would share with you my favourite Olympics quote by Bill Plaschke, a sports columnist from the Los Angeles Times:

"Canada, you were gold.  For two weeks, you lived your anthem, your hearts glowing like that moon that hung nightly over the Burrard Inlet, a light on the front porch of a house that felt like a home."

What a wonderful compliment to the City and the people of Vancouver!

All the very best of luck to our amazing Paralympians, and we know your celebration will mirror the success of the able-bodied Olympic games.  Once again Canada will be cheering on our heroes, both Canadian and international.
