Art Galleries, Studios, and Events

The Sunshine Coast is home to the highest per capita population of artists and crafters in Canada. With its stunning natural beauty it’s no wonder the Sunshine Coast has a thriving artistic community!  Follow the Purple Banner Flags (which artists hang on their studios to signal "We're Open!") from Langdale to Lund and take a self directed studio and gallery tour any time of year.

The Sunshine Coast Art Crawl is the signature event of the fall season and a “must do.” During this three day event, over 100 + galleries, studios and more will open their doors to welcome you. Take a scenic drive along the Sunshine Coast, stopping at community hubs and studio events; grab a map and passport for your chance to win great prizes. Stay for the day or better yet a few days and absorb beautiful art work, the bounty of the fall harvest and musical delights. For more information please visit Sunshine Coast Arts Crawl.

The Sunshine Coast Arts Council hosts a variety of cultural events at the Arts Centre and in the community: concerts, literary readings, lectures, events and children's activities are all part of a year-round schedule.
