Celebrate BC's first Family Day with free admission to Dakota Ridge. Family Day events include a Snowshoe Demo Day and the Jack Rabbits learn to ski program. Explore 15km of groomed Nordic ski trails and 8km of marked snowshoe trails.
Powell River Film Festival – February 19-24, 2013
The Powell River Film Festival runs each February, showcasing the latest independent documentaries, short films and feature dramas. In addition to the popular public program, we run film contests, present the Adventures in Film Camp for 15-19 year olds with the local Rotary Club, and bring children to the theatre with our FOCUS: Media Arts for Schools program.
