The Powell River Council for Arts', Culture and Heritage, known simply as the Arts' Council is a registered society in British Columbia with a mission to enhance the quality of life and creative vitality of the people who live in the Powell River region. By nurturing awareness of, involvement in, and commitment to arts, culture and heritage, we are dedicated to promoting art and culture in the Powell River area, including Lund, Texada Island and Savary Island.

Down to Earth Clayworks is a home-based pottery studio and retail showroom located south of Powell River's city limits, just off Highway 101. The showroom offers wheel-thrown and hand built pottery made from various types of stoneware clays and finished with custom glazes. Most of the pottery is wheel-thrown or hand built with a focus on functional wares that can be used in all areas of the home. Occasionally ceramic art works are also available.
